"Heidelberg West - a play to invest / buy?!"

Hi all, I'm new to the property investment game. I have friends who have bought and live in Heidelberg West. They say despite its old dodgy reputation, its changing fast and is a great place to live. Amazing bus transport routes that take you to the city in 35min; lots of trees, peaceful and quiet, close to major shops, etc, etc. Anyway, I'm looking to buy an investment property soon. I like driving through Heidelberg West and seeing all the changes. Personally l prefer it to Heidelberg Heights and Bellfield. Heidelberg West seems to have a buzz about it. I love the fact that its gentrifying and enjoy watching the new builds go up. I love the park and all the close amenities.
