Rodgers Street

"Mostly positive!"

Rodgers st is another of Carringtons Narrow streets, which makes it difficult to drive down, the positive being generally only residents that live in the street will drive down the street, the northern end of Rodgers St is dominated with industrial sheds, while the rest of the street has old cottages which have been renovated and brought back to life.

Wilson Street

"Stones throw from the harbour"

On the south side of Cowper st, which is still fairly industrial, however, people are starting to see great "value for money" with it being so close to the harbour and the inner city. like all of Carrington many renovations have taken place, typically old miners cottages rejuvinated and brought back to life.

All in all a street which i think will achieve steady growth for the years to come.

North Arm Cove

"Up and Coming inner city Secret!"

Carrington is certainly one of my inner city favourites,
So close to everything one could want, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of newcastle.

Mathieson Street

"Quiet street"

Mathieson street is very narrow, many people see this as a negative (limited parking) however because it can be difficult to drive down, it limits traffic to basically only the residents that live in the street.

Bourke Street

"Great Street for a young family!"

I have found it interesting watching the amount of professional young couples moving to Carrington,
I Guess the reason for this is that it can still be affordable! for how long, time will tell! I have noticed that young couples generally prefer the fully renovated properties and the investors like to come along and buy a house in need of renovation, renovate and then sell it on.

Bourke street is certainly one of my favourite streets in Carrington, A wide street which I often walk along, always lots of kids playing and the occasional cricket game in the middle of the street,
A great street for a young family.
