Kyogle
"Shhhhh... It's the best kept secret of the Northern Rivers"
Friendlier than Bellingen, with more artisans moving up from Sydney and setting up shop. Safe, clean and green and the locals really live up to their name of Kyogle, the friendly town. I actually live 17k away in Larnook but kinda wish I had bought in Kyogle when I had the chance.

Lismore
"I don't care what anyone says I love Lismore!"
Friendly people, very down-to-earth, a cool rockabilly scene, also there are more gays and lesbians moving here opening up cool arty cafes and wine bars, the uni campus is beautiful and leafy and has a great gym and swimming pool facility.
