"Nice in the day"

Although a nice area to look at Mowbray is home to a fair few public housing and low socio-economic groups. It's also quite close to ravenswood, rocherlea and other less safe areas. Mowbray is a nice place during the day but I wouldn't walk around at night without a bodyguard and some pepper spray

what rubbish. i have a young family and work and we walk every where day and night
and feel safer here than we did in melbourne
it is a friendly place to live and work and soooo close to great schools and a uni !

I have walked around the high street and university at night; the suburb seems to be a safe one.
