Keiraville is a nice place to live, nestled in the foothills of Mt Keira. It is quite close to the beaches and the centre of Wollongong. There is a great public school right in the centre of Keiraville and opposite are some useful shops. People are friendly and you get to know the people around you very quickly. There are a few very popular cafes and a lot of parks for children to play in. There is a doctors surgery in the centre of the village and the Botanic Gardens are very near by. About 2 km from the centre of Keiraville is Beaton Park, which has a gym and pool and playground and lots of other facilities. There is also a 50m pool at the University of Wollongong.
