Homebush west is an affordable alternative to Rhodes. It enjoys the convenience of Ikea, Olympic park, DFO and Flemington shops without the high price of accomodation in Rhodes. The newer apartments in Homebush West has the modern facilities but much more affordable than surrounding apartments in the Wentworth and Rhodes area (which is less than 10 mins by car).

The childcare (Active Kids) and pre-school (Strathfield Sessional) are good and highly recommended. Train lines are also well connected.
