Payneham
"Payneham South"
Have always wanted to live somewhere close to nature and the city when we moved to Adelaide from Melbourne.
Finally found it in Payneham South! 5 mins to the River Torrens (Hamilton Park Reserve) where I go for my jogs, 15 mins to the city by car/ bus during week days, 10 mins to Hazelwood park (kids playground), 5 mins to the Parade (Norwood) - this place has everything anyone can ask for - schools , parklands, proximity to the city.
Great for
- Close to city (only 10 bus stops , 6km)
- Close to shopping (The Parade, Firle Shopping, etc), schools, parks etc
- Safe and quiet (Private) leafy suburb
Not great for
- Main road (Portrush Road) can be busy during peak hour traffic - Bus is fine
