This is a nice pocket surrounded by the expensive suburbs like Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Bulleen, to name a few. The street runs along a nice creek and towards Ford Park. It's also nicely shielded from the bustling of Bell street traffic which is a big plus for me. The only downside is that it does becomes very dark at night due to the lack of street lightings along the road so security might be an issue. But if peace and tranquility is what you are looking for, this is the street. With the property boom at the moment, this secret pocket won't stay secret for long.

Very convenient location, buses and Northland shopping centre is just around the corner. However, the road condition is definately not a plus as it becomes quite congested in the morning, evening and even during the weekend! Being one of the main roads leading to Northland Shopping Centre or Preston Market, this road is usually packed with traffic. When you couple this with the price you have to pay to enter the Preston housing market, makes me think twice. But on the bright side, you are just 12km away from the City.

Been trying to buy into this area for months now and have felt first hand the pinch from the property boom. Done lots of research on this area and rates the best amoung the surrounding suburbs. Wide street and directly opposite a park! How's that for fresh air. Well worth a look.
