Glenelg, and Glenelg East are excellent places to live, and there is many reasons why!
For those who enjoy a quiet lifestyle you can live happily and privately as most of the houses are of an earlier time where houses weren't practically built on top of each other! You have room to breathe!
BUT... if you like to be able to walk to the shops, or not have to drive your kids everywhere they want to go to socialise as they grow up, you are just minutes from shops, cafes, supermarkets, the beach, schools, gyms, transport.. everything is at your fingertips.
Having been a bay dweller all my life, I don't know how people live in suburbia where you have to drive everywhere you want to go and can't see anything but identical houses for miles.
Glenelg is a great place to live and a great place for children to grow up in a safe, affluent, beautiful and comfortable environment.
