Chermside Road

"Great Place for Families"

This is an area where families can still get great value for money. Many families are purchasing the large two story homes that were built in the late 70s to mid 80s and renovating. These homes are located in East Ipswich and are normally surrounded by great parks and are in walking distance to state and private schools, sporting facilities and transport.

Great for

  • Most houses look over or back onto parkland
  • Walking distance to great schools like Ipswich Girls Grammar
  • Surrounded by sports fields for football, lawn bowls, tennis and vigiro

Not great for

  • Football season st can be busy with pick ups and drop off but it is only for a couple of hours on a saturday

Barry Street

"Close to everything with schools shops and transport all close. Inner city living with all the conviences but surrounded by parklands"

Barry St is very close to the CBD with a lovely river walk that many use to walk jog or commute to work. Bus is at the lower end of the street and the train station is located at the high end. The street has many character homes built from 1900 - 1940.
