I've lived in Lalor park for 2 years and it felt like home the minute we moved in. Our neighbours look out for us, but don't live in our back pockets and there's plenty of parkland and cycle/walk ways to enjoy the outdoors. Housing is affordable and we've seen many new houses built in the place of the 1960's places. There's the convenience of a local supermarket with a larger shopping centre only 5 mins drive away. We haven't been a part of the nightlife here, so it's hard to comment on that.
We enjoy the calls of many native birds in the morning and no traffic noise to interrupt the weekend calm.
Basically, we wouldn't be moving if we didn't have to move for work.
