Goodna

"Everything you need"

I moved to Goodna roughly two years ago from the Western suburbs of Brisbane, purely because of the house prices. Since moving there, I have experienced less crime, and find almost everything I need within a close distance.

I have never had any security issues, and find that the suburb is quieter than most at night, with very few teenagers actually out and about. I once had to walk home with my sister from the train station at 5AM and there was no one on the streets.

The recent floods have cause some positive changes in Goodna, such as the refurbishment of older buildings and shops, and once the process has been complete, Goodna will be a brand-new suburb.

Some of the best things about living in Goodna is how close it is to Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, something not many other suburbs can boast. The public transport is exceptional, and the local shops have most day to day needs, with Redbank Plains shopping centre, Spingfield Orion and Mount Ommany shopping centre a short drive away.

Goodna is a ten minute drive from the Western suburbs of Brisbane thanks to the motorway upgrades, and when that extra ten minute drive saves you roughly 50-100K on a mortgage, you'll be thankful you live in Goodna.

I personally will never say a bad word about the suburb of Goodna.
