Quite nice area, lots of birds, plants, trees, minimal traffic, families, country people,
gets very very cold though so need good heating, fires, electric blanket.
Can travel easily to Sydney, or catch planes from Orange.

This town has really started to shine, new shops and facilities popping up everywhere, housing ranges to suit all people and budgets, river still has fish as we catch them weekly for a bbq, great for boating, bbq, picnics, good schools, all new supermarkets with good parking. Helensvale Homeworld has all the home shops, AMART, good cafes. Sanctuary Cove close for boating, lunch, golf, recreation centre.
Can catch the train to Brisbane from Coomera easily, and Gold Coast Airport is about 30 min away for cost effective flying interstate and overseas.
We can easily take a day trip to the hinterland and up to Mt Tamborine for lunch.
Have seen a lot of improvements and this is the next mini city. New Westfields being built and major shops near Dreamworld.

Close to all - Proserpine, Airlie, beaches, fishing. It has all the facilities we need when we travel there for business. Internet, Good accommodation options, car hire, meals, seafood, movies, bbqs, swimming areas, good supermarkets.
We love going to the beaches, cafe on top of the hill/ look out, good meals at the Sailing club, friendly decent people. The town has a very positive vibe and the people are very welcoming.
