As others have said, it's very windy but that's the least of your troubles in Warrnambool. I have lived here a while, & I agree it's very bogan, the town centre is always filled with yelling, hardcore swearing, tobacco smoke and drinkers. It's hard to get a decent tradie, and when you do, they'll charge like a raging bull. Restaurants/cafes are limited and tend to be quite old & expensive for what they are. It's very white, you will stand out if you don't look Anglo/Irish. Schools are meh.
