"Home of the bogan"
Terrible suburb full of bogans. Terrible schools, terrible shops, terrible cafes and terrible people.

I have come across young families all the time because of booming new development . Boronia is central to everything. Love it.
I don't agree! Just bought a beautiful townhouse last year but eversince we shopped at Boronia as we lived in ferntree gully very close to the area. We don't experience any of these people saying or commenting! This is the world's biggest problem, inequality that makes people have disunity. Good and bad things actually happen within us. If we treat others differently they would treat us the same. Just like you get what give! I don't think there is problem with bogans. They are human like you. You're just blessed you're not in the same page. We can treat others nicely, we ourselves could make a difference in people's lives like bogans you are saying. Wherever or whichever suburbs you wanna stay if you have that superiority attitude and looked down pn other people you're not gonna have a peaceful living. We can have compassion for people like them to make this world a better place.
"A very meh place"
Look its not bad but its got nothing that stands out as great. The houses are of that era that are a bit tacky and the cafes are alright but nothing special. I have got 2 young kids and im currently looking at schools and im not hearing great things. The walk along the creek is nice although ive been advised not to do it at night. Knox westfield is pretty good and is about to have a big reno so hopefully that might provide a few more decent dining/cafe options.

Are you renting or do you own, I was looking at buying a property in Boronia, Ferntree Gully and surrounding areas but your review makes me think. Is the bogan issue ongoing?
