Chalmers Avenue

"Great cul-de-sac with beautiful views, lovely vibe"

The street is busy tranforming, with old houses being replaced by brand new double story homes. It is not hard to see why - we hardly ever have cars coming up here, so the street is always full of kids on bicycles or playing soccer. Most houses have a fabulous view of the city and ocean. Best of all, the buses to work & school are a short stroll away, so are a large soccer field and a rainforest walk. The largest Mall in the city is not far too, and the beach is a 5-10 minute drive.

"The closest I can think of to paradise"

We are about to move in, and I couldn't be more excited. My partner loves the beach, and a short stroll down the road is a spectacular beach which never seems busy. I love trees, and we have half an acre of rainforest and a national reserve behind our block. Yet we are in Sydney and can get to theatre or live music fairly easily. We can walk tot he closest cinema and cafe. I never thought we would get the two combined. I love country, and gardens, he loves city, and nightlife.
The only thing that sucks is no trains nearby, but the buses are good, and my child only has to take one bus to his school near the city.

Hi leebeily,

Congrats on the new house! Fantastic news. I would love to hear your impressions on the area over the next few months, and give us another review in 3 more months to see if your view has changed.

Congrats again :)

AJ
