Goodna

"Somewhat dissapointing..."

Unfortunately I have lived in goodna for almost 1 year now and have had many incidents right out front of my house, yes there are good and bad parts to all places but I think I have moved into the worst part of goodna. It is most definately not a great place. I do believe that the newer estates around goodna are much cleaner and safer, however, a 2 minute walk from these areas and its back to the slums. The schooling options are not great either unless you go private.

Great for

  • Transport
  • Budget

Not great for

  • Lack of great dining restuarants
  • Crime

Who lives here?

  • Singles
  • Retirees

Goodstone

Clearly this person has never lived in Goodna but for some reason decided to post this untrue graffiti on the website. (Notice also they haven’t reviewed any other suburbs and it’s a shame that their review is not helpful or factual.)

Example two star’s for childcare but there are seven childcare centres in the suburb, many new and modern. If there were no childcare centres would it be given five stars?

A vibrant growing suburb with lots of younger families. Many great schools that perform very well and are superior to others as well as on Naplan tests. Just yesterday I was out walking and bumped into one of my neighbours walking their dog and being able to have a friendly talk. Nice to be out walking and having no worries.

I have never had any issues with crime in the over ten years of living here.

Like Greatgoodna say’s a ‘Great suburb. Come and visit, stay to live and enjoy.’
Goodna is a great multi-cultural place that welcomes everyone.
