Have a friend who lives in this area. Hate driving there as getting very busy. Have stayed there overnight to look after kids and there are always idiots hooning around and nearby is Devon and Dudley park which unfortunately has still a lot of unsavoury people. Blocks getting smaller and high rise development. Personally I don't feel safe there and wouldn't want to live there.

It is a beautiful area particularly near the river, however buyer beware. There are a lot of termite infested houses and a lot of structural problems. Also the tea tree gully council rates are very expensive. My current house in the mitcham council area is worth a lot more but my rates are a lot cheaper and to be quite honest I get better services for less. High bury is very hilly and there are a lack of footpaths in the suburbs.

A very safe friendly well located place. Near city, approx 6kms south of Adelaide. Quick drive to the city, beach or hills. Excellent schools, shopping, medical and child care. Great transport with all surrounding main rds having buses and east parkway. Good size blocks and beautiful parks and wide verges. Beautifully kept homes.
