Hahndorf is located within the water catchment area, town having many heritage listed buildings and significant trees, this all means that while Mt Barker and beyond will continue to get urban spraw, hahndorf boundries not to be considered for expansion within the 30 year DPA plan. If you want a hills life that will not change dramatically in the next 30 years or more Hahndorf is the location. excellent community minded people who live in Hahndorf with rich history.
