"What a nightmare. I live in a unit in the 'nest' apartment on the 6th floor."
Unfortunately, the unit I currently rent is on the edge of the building & construction of the largest complex has just begun. I am pregnant & have chosen to move out of my unit from my husband & live with my sister in Canberra due to the construction noise. It is unbearable. The truck reversing beeps start 5 days a week @ 0630 & the noise just gets worse from there. And the dust is crazy. We can't sit on the balcony because of it.
AVOID at all costs if you are home during working hours. The one & only lift in the complext breaks down all the time & if you park for more than 4 hours on the street, you WILL get a parking ticket.
Our letterbox was broken into twice & my husbands credit card stollen & $3200 charged to it. Nightmare... Avoid this hellish noisy suburb.

- Close to UNSW, UTS and USyd
Not great for
- Constant new construction everywhere
- Traffic sounds from the freeway
- Units are very small and seem to be made for midgets
- Heavy Traffic
- No schools around
