Have been in Dalby for 2 years now and we love it. Houses are still somewhat affordable compared to the coast and our neighbours are
great. Dalby has everything we need but Toowoomba is only 50 mins away if you need to visit a city. Schools are
great and our children have fitted in perfectly. Lots of attractions around
like lakes for fishing and boating and
being 50 mins from the Bunya mountains is a real bonus.
Only downside for us so far is no medical centres are taking on new patients so have had to do phone consults back to Brisbane which will become a problem in the future.
As for the crime, I haven't seen any of it. A few annoying teenagers around town but no different to anywhere else. Would definitely recommended Dalby if you are looking for a quiet lifestyle.
