Redland Bay
"Very laid back, village atmosphere, close community, excellent for bringing up children"
I lived in Redland Bay for 4 - 5 years and never, ever had any problems. Neighbours were/are extremely nice, thoughtful and caring about everybody in the street, we all helped each other out, but didn't live in each others pockets. The local shopping centre is a very village like atmosphere with friendly shopkeepers. The streets and parks are clean and there doesn't seem to be alot of hooning going on, especially in the little streets where kids play. I loved living there and would move back in a heartbeat if I could.

We are moving back after 7 years here in Brisbane with unfriendly neighbours and generally a not nice community at all. And I am never leaving again! The Redlands is just a great place overall.
