LOVING-IT

I bought off Highbury Dr and am loving the area. I have lived there for 6 mths now and as a shift worker I have found the suburb to be suprisingly quiet. The large trees provide nests for the local bird life and after installing a bird bath I enjoy watching the 50 plus lorikeets that enter my yard every day. My neighbours are friendly and the odd party on Friday and Saturday nights is not excessive.
There are a high number of renters in the area but with bargains to be had I dont know why there arent more owner/occupied houses. I bought a large 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom with 2 car garage house for under $280,000.
The area is central to Ipswich, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With new shopping centres and railway lines in the pipeline housing prices are sure to rise.
