Lua Exo

We moved to nambour mainly because of house prices and the community spirit. People really try to come up with new ideas to make the suburb more vibrant. Our neighbours are great and the area feels safe. Nambour is one of the most down to earth suburbs on the coast- no "keeping up with the joneses" here and it's culturally diverse :)
It's green with hidden waterfall and bushwalks and only 15-20mins to the nearest beach. Easy connection to the motorways so you can be at the north or southern tip of the sunshine coast within 30-45mins. I switched jobs when we moved here so it was great not having to worry about travel. Also easy access to the train station with direct lines to Brisbane. Bus system could be better to connect to the coast but that's an issue in almost any of our suburbs.
House prices are still affordable in nambour compared to the rest of the coast.
