I'm not going to repeat what others have already said. I've lived in the town for two and a half years and whilst I'm happy enough living in this country town, driving can be painful. I'm always keen to do at least the speed limit but there are many in the area who can't help but dawdle at 20-30km/h under the limit, especially where overtaking is difficult or impossible. So if you're a bit of a lead foot, take my advice. Don't live in or around Murwillumbah. It will only cause aggravation. And don't get me started on the atrocious quality of the roads.
