Arncliffe

"A small and quite suburb with stunning views"

I moved to Arncliffe last year in the newly build apartment on Princes Hwy.

Been growing up in Inner West, moving to Arncliffe is kinda "unwilling", especially I don't drive. but I have found Arncliffe is better than I thought.

The commute is convenient - train every 15-20 mins (5 stop to Central), Bus 420 every 15-20mins - 10mins to International Airport, 30mins to Burwood.
one stop or 15mins walk to Wolli Creek - where the Wolly and Aldi are and lots of places to eat.

The street is quiet and nice, and the view is stunning! - thanks for living on the high hill of the area allow enjoy the weekend on the balcony with a book and a cuppa see the aircraft going up & down ( the noise level are low) with plenty of greens, a hint of the blue (the water line ) and touch by a sparkling gold (the sand on Brighton-la-sand beach) at background. great sunsets, fresh ocean breeze.

I heard people complain don't know about their neighbour, how about step up and knock a few doors? where I live, you can only access the level you live and luckily, my neighbour is not shy to knock and introduction him/her selves. even I am really bad in remember the name, but we manage to exchanged Christmas gift by leave by the door and a note saying "Dear Neighbour" instead of name. LOL.

The downsides are there are not many options to eat locally - but hey! we got Uber Eats & Deliveroo and I would love to have a BIGger supermarket - IGA is good but too small, also this area needs a gym.

If you are new and just move to the new apartment complex on Prince Hwy, hopefully, I will see you around :).

Hey there
I noticed you says you moved to the newly built complex. Is that 213 princess highway?

Hi! Yep, we did end up buying an apartment in Bloom. We really like it. The apartments are built well, however our one peeve is that the apartments are fully carpeted (with the exception of kitchen, bathroom and laundry). Everyone is friendly and theres a wide mix of people from different cultural backgrounds which is really cool. Lots of younger couples and also families. We have a dog and theres a little community for them which is really nice and was important to us. Its relatively quiet, especially compared to Rosebery and the likes (which is where we moved from). Youre close to the train station and pretty well connected with the M5, access to the city etc. There is a bit of airport noise but were not under a flight path so its not intense, and if you have windows and doors closed you can barely hear anything. We would recommend! Happy to answer any specific questions if you have them.

Hi lovely people, any comments about 213 Princes highway Arncliffe complex? Any safety issues for young teenagers walking daily to Arncliffe train station for commuting to city every/night? Thank you for your kind inputs. Much appreciate
