Gulgong
"Quiet, artsy town that Henry Lawson spent a little time in"
Gulgong is a small town outside of the larger town of Mudgee in the central west of NSW. Unexpectedly, it has a strong art community, a farming fraternity and a number of people who live locally work in some of the surrounding mines (though none - thankfully - are terribly close to town). It's a great place to raise kids and has excellent primary schools.
The town has a strong sporting influence and the local Kumon educational facility is very popular.
