I have lived in Karong Ave since building my home in 2001. It was one of the first in the, at the time, new street. During this period our children were raised - primary school was within walking distance from our home. Secondary school in Newcastle was easily accessed via bus, the bus stop again, within walking distance from our home.
The street is quiet and safe. We have lovely neighbours. People look out for one another.
Further, Maryland and Fletcher shops are within easy walking/driving distance. A well appointed Coles shopping village has good access. Fletcher also boasts and Aldi about 2 mins drive from the shopping village! Parking is never a problem.
I have really enjoyed lining in Maryland.
