"FABULOUS location: Close to: City, Excellent Schools, Restaurants, Bars, Beaches, Shopping & Airport"
I have lived in Waterloo for 20 years and watched a wonderful gentrification, as many highly educated and superbly creative individuals and couples have moved in, to delight in this very popular suburb.
The NSW State Government as well as City of Sydney Council are pouring billions of dollars into Infrastructure in Waterloo, including an underground rapid rail station, a civic centre, olympic pool, library and very luxurious, high class, exceptionally gorgeous, multi-story developments. There are beautiful parks and waterways within and in close proximity to Waterloo. It is certainly a place of creative excellence and multiple interests, as well as very peaceful.
Great for
- Close to Excellent Universities & Schools
- Close to beautiful parks & very quiet, yet convenient
- Short drive or bus ride to beaches, minutes to the City, Newrown & Surry Hills
- Close to city
- Great transportation
- Walking distance to coles and other specialties store
Not great for
- The Government is gradually selling off all government housing
- Within 5 years government housing will not be in Waterloo
- Not a problem at all
