I lived there for a year and found it incredibly convenient. Movies and Chadstone were a 10 minute walk, Hughesdale station is so close meaning that getting in and out of the city was effortless. There are a bunch of small restaurants to choose from with many more a stop away in Carnegie and Murrumbeena.
