"Developing Suburb"
Collingwood Park is an excellent value for money suburb in Brisbane. I was paying 365 per week for a shitbox property in Blacktown in Sydney and now only paying 300 per week for a modern 4 bedroom place.
I live relatively close to the Woolworths and the carpark is actually better organised than Redbank Plaza where bad weather is concerned.
Woodlinks State School is the best school in Australia. Its a modern school and when my wife emailed a question on the school website, the principal got back to her on a sunday night during school holidays when she was holidaying in England, yet at the school she went to in Sydney, it took them a week to get back to her about a bullying incident.
I would certainly recommend Collingwood Park to anyone thinking about moving here. Its quite easy to get to Redbank Station to catch a train to Brisbane CBD with buses going there every half hour.
Great for

- Only 30 minutes drive to Brisbane
- Can buy a property in the 200's !
- Massive potential for future growth
- New trainline proposed
Not great for
- Housing Commission
- Mining was a problem only on one or two streets, but fully supported by Govt. Council has got all information about where the mines can be.no problem.

We're living in Blacktown now and moving to Brisbane in early 2014. Looking for suburbs similar to Castle Hill, Kings Langley, Baulkham Hills, Penrith even, that aren't diverse with one nationality (like Blacktown!). Can you make any suggestions??
