Bracken Ridge

"Great place to bring up the family"

I have lived in the area for 22 years and enjoyed being part of the community. Bracken Ridge has lots to offer families with choices of good schools both private and public and even North Point TAFE. Excellent access to public transport, wonderful local library, bike riding tracks and parks. There are many sporting facilities within Bracken Ridge including Pony Club, little athletics, cricket, netball, soccer, aussie rules, so plenty to keep children entertained. I regularly walk the dog and feel safe even at night. Sandgate foreshore is a short drive or 20 minute bike ride away. There is a mix of housing some lower price areas and other areas would suit professional couples. I have lived in three different areas of Bracken Ridge and now live in Enbrook Heights estate and have always had great neighbours.

Corvette Crescent

"Quiet street with wonderful neighbours."

I have lived here for nearly five years and I am happy to say I have enjoyed every minute of it. I currently know people in 10 houses in our street, it is very safe to walk at night which many people regularly do with their dogs. Everyone is friendly and Bracken Ridge has a wonderful community spirit.

The library is only 15 minutes walk, local shops, doctors, dentists and post office are only 10 minutes walk away. Take your pick of a park to while away the afternoons with the children and there are plenty of bike tracks to get you out and about on the weekends.

You can catch the bus into the city from Phillips Street which is 5 minutes through the walkway. The schools here are wonderful and there is a choice of catholic and state schools for primary and secondary schooling. With schools in walking distance, public transport and shops extremely close we have found we can go back to having one car.

Bracken Ridge is a family suburb, there are plenty of sporting activities available - pony club, little athletics, cricket, soccer, football, swimming, netball clubs and many more. Sandgate is roughly a
20 minute bike ride away, a trip that I do on a regular basis for a wonderful way to exercise along the foreshore. I lived in Portumna Street, Bracken Ridge for 15 years before moving to Corvette Crescent but like this street much better.
Bracken Ridge is a great place to live - very family orientated.
