Whittlesea

"Has a nice feel"

We've been living here for a few months now. Its a nice change from South Morang/Mill Park with next to no cars doing burn outs every night!!. Local supermarkets are ok (2 of them), and will only improve once IGA extends its premises (currently under construction).
Transport as other have said is limited to bus, leaving approx every 45 mins.
Takeaway, couple of good fish n chips shops, couple of good chicken shops, Chinese restaurant, great bakeries, and a couple of pizza shops, one is better than the other, but I will not say which.

The people of the town seem very friendly always managing to give a hello or good morning etc.

The kids need more to do, as they do hang around town at times, with little or nothing for them to do.

All in all I love my new home. I am content that my children will grow up here, even if its a bit boring for them........Helloooooooo Whittlesea Council!........please give them more to do, a sports centre, indoor bmx/skate track.

We live in the newer area, gas, electrcity (you'd want to hope so lol), adsl1, adsl2 is not available on our street, (Telstra love splitting lines between homes these days).

Again a nice area that grows more on me each day I live here.
