Only a small diamond in the Eastern Suburbs full of 1950's style homes, with brand new AV Jennings Development that has helped this little quiet gem come along in price. The people are all very friendly, but do keep to themselves, however do say hello when walking the dog and are always happy to help if you are in trouble. The ice cream shop on the corner does a roaring trade in summer and the line often snakes around the corner on those hot 30 degree nights. The FruChocs shop is great too! I think this suburb is the quiet achiever is very often forgotten by the hype of Norwood, Tranmere and the like. The problem is that no one wants to leave, so very rarely do homes come onto the market here and there is not alot of turn over. So if you want to give Glynde a go, get in quick sticks, because I think this will be a very good little suburb of the future. By the way, the property this quote is about is not for Davis Court, but Davis Road. Somehow Realestate.com doesn't have Davis Road in their system for their map......
