Station Rd is the best street in Deagon without a doubt. It is closer to the Sandgate Village and train station than most parts of Sandgate and still within walking distance to the water. There are plenty of schools within walking distance and there is a footpath that is in great condition. There is very light traffic, and all our neighbours are fantastic.

We were looking at Shorncliffe and Sandgate but found a great section of Deagon that is within 2 minutes walk of the great Sandgate Village and the train stations. We get great sea breezes - always a couple of degrees cooler than the rest of Brisbane. The village has everything you need for weekly living and there are parks and bike paths everywhere that our kids love. The streets are nice and wide so you can walk or ride without worrying about the kids too much and the people are all very friendly and say hello. We love it here.
