We had heard about Berkeley Vale, or as we call it "Berky V" from friends and family living nearby but it wasn't until we bought here tIhat we realised what a gem this place is. Its all about proximity. Berkeley Vale is the perfect location being equidistant to great shopping, direct train and motorway to Sydney (and Newcastle) and the local beaches. I mean world-class beaches like Shelly Beach and Toowoon Bay. The 15 km cycleway around Tuggerah Lake is serene and stunning as well a being a great Saturday transit to the bustling cafes of Long Jetty. Mingara Recreation club, which is minutes away, has an amazing gym and aquatic centre and some pretty decent food to boot. The cute bottle shop there sells artisan gin and freshly baked soughdough.
