Hoppers Crossing

"Love it!"

Absolutely love the suburb. I moved in 2008 from St Kilda. I was very apprehensive of the Western Suburb stigma but I couldn't be more wrong. Whilst it took me time to adjust to the daily commute in 2008 - train travel has vastly improved. Today, it's such a breeze travelling from Hoppers Crossing Station to the city compared to 2008. I also move the additional train line from Tarneit. More or less the Western Suburb stigma has reduced to a great extent as more and more people have made west their home. Today, if someone exhibits the stigma for West, it's looked down as old-fashioned. My house value has more than doubled in the same time. Hoppers Crossing, a traditional working-class suburb today is transforming into a hipper suburb due to the change in demographics with more young professionals who have more disposable income. You can see the expensive cars on our streets, new cafes, new people coming into the suburb. Love it! The suburbs transformation is on the right track. Don't hesitate to make Hoppers Crossing your home. It has everything a suburb should have.
