"Relatively affordable but prices are (fortunately for us) creeping upward"

Just moved here a year ago. Professional, white collar neighbours, bordering on Sturt Gorge Recreational Park. Well built homes being updated, some stunning gardens, large properties. Close to Blackwood, the Hills, Westfield Marion and a short drive to the beach.
