"Busy, noisy, slums"

From Karrinyup Rd to Scarborough Beach Road its noisy, overpopulated and busy. So many homes jammed on one another and always a party house or houseful of people fighting all day and night.

So many state housing homes that are not looked after and occupied by horrible tenants.
Be aware. Don't live anywhere along here that's a villa/townhouse/subdivision.

"Huntriss Road....ugh"

Noisy, too many homes, so much traffic.
Huntriss road from Karrinyup Rd to Scarborough Beach Road is fabulous if you stone deaf.
So many state housing homes that are neglected and occupied by truly awful people.
Don't live in or next to a villa/townhouse/subdivision.

"Was a nice street full of quiet people"

We've lived here for 17 years. All decent quiet respectful people. That is, until the "barn" was rented to a bunch of kids who'd party from Friday till early Monday morning every damn weekend.
Then they sold it....how is a mystery as its dodgy as inside.
So an older couple move in. Older as in 50s.
Then they get dogs that they never walk or seem to bother with and leave them in a tiny brick yard. Couple split, each took a dog. Lucky us.....we were subjected to the dog that barks all day long. All day. At nothing. Just out of boredom. The female owner was never there so the dog barked for at least 14 hours on and off (mainly on) for almost a year. And it's loud. And seriously, barks at nothing.
Near St Marks school....doesn't bark at people going to school as it gets interaction by watching which stops it's boredom. Then it just barked continually, usually from when owner left for work to when the owner got home. So maybe 6.30am till 7pm.
Now the bloke is back and 2 dogs there. And still that one dog barks for hours at nothing and the other one occasionally chimes in too. It's great. The female owner has definitely turned what was probably a nice dog into a dog that is psychologically damaged beyond repair due to her ignorance of it. Just downright cruel.

Why get such big dogs in such a tiny "yard" and ignore them ? Honestly, people in the area are sick of it and keep contacting rangers who do nothing.
Move here if you are deaf.
Don't buy on this road unless you are at 33. As you can hear the dog barking from the corner of Venus Way to 19 St Marks.
Even if you love dogs, the barking will drive you nuts.

"Lovely street, quiet neighbourhood"

Such a fabulous street. Opposite a park, super quiet. Very safe. Wish we never left.

Why did we move to the place we are at annoys me every day

"Lovely street except for 1 or 2 CUBS"

Such a wonderful street, wish we never moved from here.
Sure there's about 2 noisy families (total bogans) who live at the end but majority are lovely. Helpful, kind, respectful, friendly

"Many changes, not for the better, over the years"

Lived here almost 20 years.
Near the school which is fine but as people move & things age notice a lot of issues.
School kids aren't as polite as they used to be.
Neighbours barely talk to one another, especially as some new ones are hostile & aggressive.
Lots of rentals, lots of old houses being knocked down. Power goes out regularly due to too many homes built and power grid not updated. Always a water pipe bursting somewhere. Always cracks in road leading to a new pothole every few weeks.
Wifi is terrible, rarely works after 3pm.
Location is good as close to shops & buses but that's it. It's lost its neighbourly charm.
So many rentals, homes are way overpriced. Villas that are tiny are going for $800k...insane. Rent in said villa for $800/week is nuts.

Hoons love to use Cook, Banks, St Mark's & Endeavour as a race circuit to avoid booze buses and speed cameras.

Every tiny house on St Mark's seems to have gotten dogs that they let bark all day long & can genuinely hear them from 100s of metres away. Especially the dog on St Mark's...omg it's the worst

Would love to move but everything is so overpriced & it's not worth it.

Only reason I've stayed is medical.

"Overpriced, over rated, full of CUBS"

Bogans everywhere.....where these people are getting their money from is beyond me. A $1.6 million dollar home that is bought by one person who's a tradie and wife is stay at home with 3 kids in private schools is sus. Every second home has a boat or caravan or jetski......the boats and jetskis drive us mad as people spend hours running & cleaning them and the smell is rank. If you see a home with a jetski in the driveway, do not move in there as always a brainless rude bogan living there.

$1000 week rents on homes that are teeny, $850k for a tiny villa? Wtf
Full of posers, rude inconsiderate aholes. Noisy everywhere.
Footpaths are uneven, damaged or have cars parked on them so have to walk on the street...great if you have a pram.

St Mark's Drive where people get big dogs in tiny homes and let them bark all day....poor dog, poor neighbours. The "Barn" house in particular has never had a decent occupant in years....18 months of a dog barking for 12+ hours a day is infuriating

Ninnis Place.. .dog barks all day long. All day. Party house

People have roosters (illegal), cuss at police, get drunk too much & it's become a dump

Broadbeach Blvd full of bogans with huge cars, caravans & boats that never seem to work. Just sit outside running the boat.

Endeavour Rd is just commercial and old people living in old overpriced homes & a great bypass via Cook Avenue & Banks for hoons to speed up & down, evading Marmion Ave speed cameras.

Disrespectful teen idiots on e scooters riding in the middle of the road at night calling people c*nts or thinking it's funny to pull suddenly into traffic to try to get cars to crash. Brilliant.

Power always going out somewhere once a week, roads always need repairs, weekly water outages common, wifi is atrocious. Building more and more homes and power grid not updated to keep up with this demand. God forbid if you turn on the aircon in summer as it'll take the entire block down.
Graffiti, rubbish everywhere, homeless people camping out at bus stops.

Seriously wish we could move but in this market it's unlikely as only 1 of us works so we realistically cannot afford anything in this market.

Sick of this place. Move elsewhere
