Salisbury Heights

"Quiet, Green and Spacious"

I've lived in the suburb for about seven years after buying my first home here, was the best investment ever as the property was a great price for a fantastic building on a large block of land, and the appreciation of its value has been fantastic. My dog loves my large backyard and the nearby parks and ovals all in walking distance and are very spacious. The streets are tree lined and houses are spaced apart enough to give privacy and peace. Salisbury Council is a very progressive council and rates are cheap. I do my shopping up the hill at the gorgeous Golden Grove shops and I have everything I need within a short driving distance. The people who live in the neighbourhood are friendly but keep to themselves, unfortunately there are two houses close by that have had occupants of a less than desirable nature but I have lived in affluent suburbs like St Peters and Tranmere and had the same experience there, always one bad apple in a bunch! The only other negative is that due to the spacious and nearby parks, the occasional idiot like to set fireworks off, but that is not the norm thank god. So don't let the name 'Salisbury' put you off, this suburb is fantastic, and well worth investing or renting in for singles, couples and families alike :)
