Acacia Ridge

"Good Suburb"

We moved here about 2 years ago and it reminds me of the neighbourhoods we grew-up in as a kid: lots of trees, families and friendly neighbours. The house prices are very affordable and so we really don't spend much more on living than we were when we were renting (in a more expensive suburb). We love to go running around the neighbourhood and I (as a young female) never feel unsafe. A great place to start-out as a young couple - we had always planned to only stay 12 months but we love it now and can't imaging leaving.

Great for

  • Quiet
  • Friendly
  • Green and lots of trees

Not great for

  • Public transport is limited to a few buses but train station is reasonably close and a new train station is planned for Acacia Ridge in 2015

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
