I have lived in Mansfield for 4 years now and have loved every day of it, do not see myself moving. Mansfield is 5 minutes from both of the south sides largest Westfields, 15-20 minute drive from the city, a large Bunnings in the next suburb over, everywhere I go and everyone I meet gives me a sense of neighborly community spirit, the iconic Mansfield tavern is great which will only get better when the Wecker Road markets development is finished, there is an abundance of restaurants all over plus loads to eat at Metropol with other services, every local business you could need within the industrial area, Tillack Park is amazing for recreational activities with other smaller areas such as Broadwater Park and picnic ground, very quick access to the M1 and M3 plus the Redlands is a 15 minute drive away, the completely re built golf course facilities are very modern which accommodate golfers and families alike with an indoor driving range and activities for the kids such as mini golf and a jumping castle plus if you're an avid golfer you will not be dissatisfied with the highly desirable green, the public transport network makes coming and going a breeze and Mansfield State school is a top performing school and Cavendish Road state school ranks among the top state schools. Mansfield is a highly desirable suburb surrounded completely by other highly desirable suburbs such as Carindale and Mt Gravatt East. I have found Mansfield to be nothing but safe, peaceful, prosperous, leafy and green, highly socioeconomic, convenient, undervalued and a perfect place to raise a family and call my home.
