As someone that has lived here all my life , it really doesn’t have a lot to offer besides beauty ,if you’re a football player or fanatic you will fit right in ,pretty much the whole town culture is based around football , there’s not a lot of job opportunities nor anything for the younger ones to do in town . The council is a disgrace at one stage the mayor was being looked into for a incident with a disabled teen girl , the current deputy mayor is a ambulance officer who has just been stood down for refusing to get the covid vaccine currently taking legal action against the same government he represents .
The facilities are lacking and often vandalised probably due to boredom from the local youth . Minor crimes like car break in and burned out cars are regular , but I do find the town quite safe just a toxic culture .
The parks are surrounds are beautiful very pretty . After living here almost my whole life we have decided there is nothing here for our children and will soon be relocating for better opportunities.
