"Step back in time to yesterdays Australia!!"

About an hours drive from Sydney's CBD, but an 100 years back in time to the Sydney of the past that the developers and the rat race have missed.

I love this areas quiet ruralness , that feels so far from todays Sydney and its angry people, traffic and rush that you can get. There are heaps stuff to do in the area like fishing, boating, water skiing, bush walking, mountain biking, camping, or just exploring some of the old cemetery's and buildings and National parks in the area. The Great North road is just across the ferry on settlers rd,Which was the only way to the north from Sydney for the early settlers. It is worth a look and is a great part of Sydney's history thats been forgotten! There also some great old pubs in the area where you can just relax and do nothing. ( If you like nite clubbing you probably won't like it here )

All the day to day things can be found in town eg: Food shops, petrol station, post office, police station, school etc.. for other stuff its approx 30 mins easy rural drive to a new Woolworth's at Glenorie and 40 mins major shops in Gosford, Hornsby or Castle hill.

I came here on holidays years back and I couldn't believe there could be anywhere this close to Sydney that was so beautiful and unspoilt by time. I loved it so much I never left.
