Belgrave is the heart of the Hills. It has excellent restaurants, bars and accommodation as well as a variety of interesting shops and even a gorgeous cinema. It is perfectly situated close to the amazing forests and walks of the Dandenongs. People moving to the area are attracted by the unique and beautiful houses nestled amongst the trees and birdlife.
My husband and I have worked in Belgrave for 10 years. The best place for takeaway is Savvy Organic Pizza and Ice Cream https://www.savvyorganic.com.au/pizza! Our pizzas are made with quality ingredients and we also make our own ice cream.
If you're in Belgrave for a day wander the main street making sure they visit the second hand shops. Enjoy lunch in one of the cafes, then see a movie. Choose from one of the excellent restaurants for dinner or pick up some take away pizza for the drive home!
I rate Belgrave 10 out of 10 for a place to live.
