My mother grew up in Moonee Beach on the western side of the highway on Old Bucca Road which is now Forest Glen as it was owned by her father Ambrose Corrigan.
My parents are the longest and oldest living residents of Moonee Beach since 1955 and we all grew up there. We are 3rd generation family living in Moonee Beach.
Moonee Beach is the best place you could live. I remember dirt roads and hardly any houses.
It is such a family friendly and tourist friendly community it is the place to bring up your children.
It is even better now that the shopping centre is there and the local tavern that has great meals at great prices.
Only being 10 minutes from Coffs Harbour (South) and Woolgoolga (North) there is so much to do.
Now that the Highway Upgrade is happening it is even better and faster to get to Coffs Harbour or Woolgoolga.
