"A super town to make dreams happe"
Kalgoorlie is such a soft spot for me. I moved for a job opportunity and what an amazing experience I had. There are constant events and things happening you are never board in Kal.
The people are friendly mainly because every one is from somewhere else but the locals welcome you with open arms!
A great place to raise a family, make a family or get highly intoxicated at the gold bar.
Take the jump move to the Wild West you’ll love it .

"Wouldn’t move back"
We moved to northam for work. The town sadly is clicky and not welcoming to out of towners. Every one leaves town on the weekend so it’s hard to socialise. When we lived there we only had three options for eating out - after our last visit recently we saw many more food venues which is fabulous!
I look forward to northam flourishing into a weekender kind of town like York in its future as it deserves it!
"Older part of Karratha"
Bulgarra.....
older properties, lots of company housing and Homeswest housing.
The street lights don’t work, there is lots of rubbish on the roads but Horizon Power and the City of Karratha do act upon reported issues and concerns.
Residents tend to keep to themselves. I feel safe as we have cyclone coverings on every window.
Probably not my first choice but so far we haven’t hadn’t a problem with the suburb just one noisey neighbour with lots of family coming and going and their children roaming the streets until late breaking things. Police have been quite responsive too.
"Sea side town"
Point Samson is a beautiful community, with the tavern being the hub of the town.
You must love fishing/boating to live in Point Samson. The town has a general store which has limited basics and a bottle shop. There are two caravan parks in town which are full during the winter months.
Your closest major shop is Wickham, 8 minute drive away, which has a Woolworths.
I am happy we got the chance to experience a beautiful town.
Major down fall- shocking phone reception and too many dogs roaming the streets.

"A central suburb with a country town mentality"
I've lived in Woodbridge for just over a year now. The suburb is perfectly located on the train line. We have two awesome schools in Woodbridge and Guilford Grammar is on our border. All major hwys and freeways are a stone throw away. Midland and Guilford are our neighbouring suburbs, both locations boast beautiful cafes, restaurants and bars. Woodbridge is a family and pet friendly suburb with every one willing to have a chat at the drop of a hat. The suburb has lots of parks and beautiful walks. The City of Swan doesn't maintain the suburb, especially the older part of Woodbridge and fighting for them to clean up the area is a struggle. We do have some crime, graffiti and drug dealing seems to be our main two areas of concern. Woodbridge is under a flight path and the freight trains run through also both creating a lot of noise.
I'm happy I purchased my first home here but I do have fears in regards to selling as I don't think the suburb is desired due to its over “in kept” look by the city of swan

Oldest and best place to live in Karratha, highest percentage of owner occupied with largest blocks and best gardens in town. Close to boat ramp access and recreational facilities too. Homes west / state housing is spread throughout Karratha and Bulgarra has minimal issues in comparison to the other areas.
