"Safe quiet community - somewhere social capital is easily obtained"

Great place to live if you want to be close to the city without having to live with all of the negatives of city life. if you put an effort into getting to know your neighbours you will be kindly rewarded! all of whom i have met are lovely people who want to get to know you and look out for one another. You feel safe all of the time! with new developments in the works for community hubs and shopping areas Alfredton is fast becoming the best area in ballarat.

Great area to raise a family
Less than 7 minutes to the CBD
Close to elite schools

Not great for

Nothing significant, only trivial issues that would be expected in the best of locations
