Dapto is an affordable suburb in the Illawarra, that has a proud tradition of a being blue collar area that looks out for each other. There are many sporting hero's that cut their teeth in the competitive junior grades of all sports the area has to offer. Famous for the "Dapto Dogs" (greyhound racing) the area also has a proud tradition of looking out for each other, with a genuine sense of community spirit. The Dapto Markets and Show are community highlights. A growing area with great amounts of land still undeveloped, it is a city in the making
