Tura is a great place to live. Quiet, friendly. The kind of place where people enjoy looking after their houses and gardens.
The only downside for me is that the beach is not great for walking or swimming- most people here drive to Merimbula for that.
There’s also not really any cafes or things to do in the evening- it’s more the kind of place where you go to a neighbour’s house for a bbq. If you want nightlife, Tura is definitely not your place!
But it’s only a ten minute drive from Merimbula and in summer it’s always great to get back here away from the Merimbula crowds. A lovely spot.
